Question Water pipe that leads nowhere? Has a rubber stopper on (which perished)
Identification please

What's this pipe for? It was leaking through a perished rubber stopper, it sits on a pipe protruding from near the dipstick to the right of the alternator, here are some photos:.





Had to borrow one off my SORN'd gc8 wagon as one on my bug wagon was perished on top
