Looks pretty good actually.

Even if there are occasional showers, with temps in the 20's it'll dry out in no time

Just been speaking to one of my colleagues in Munich. It is currently 28c there and the sun is shining

The scoob won't like lapping the ring if the temperature stays like that!

Same here, knackered today, one final push on the car to finish and hopefully enough time for a quick wash.

Think i'll go to Jackies and empty out all the luggage first! Would be nice to get down there 3 or 4pm though before the evening crowd arrives and it gets busy.

Just about done. Go pro all charged (no idea how to work it mind) all relevant bits n pieces printed and in a folder. Just need to pack a few clothes. Also found out a way to end droughts. It seems every time I wash my car, just as I finish drying it, it tips it down. To think I was, not ten minutes before, cursing the weather as it was drying too quick and leaving water marks, hahaha.

I'll wait and see! How many times has it said it would be sunny and it has rained and other times it has said rain and it has been fantastic. Is looking promising though!

Just putting braided brake lines on, one to go and just busted the coupling on the airline. Fuel filter and coolant flush and then round to car wash. Job done.

Have you managed to sort the broken coupling? Hats off to you, I'd be in all sorts of trouble if I had what you've had to do!

Yeah it's only on the airline for the tools, needed die grinder to open up a hole for the brake hoses to mount to, as braided ones slightly different. Jo not very happy with me at moment.

We're all here and all in one piece other being short of one mud flap and one and a half splitters.

Think most people got in at least one lap this afternoon, ring was dead, I drove my first ever lap very slowly and only got passed by 4 cars over the entire lap.

I'm sure we'll try and get in more updates as the weekend continues.

The old girl looking decidedly grubby and after the brakes had stopped smoking

Fantastic! Very envious!! Good that the ring was quiet too, a good time to get a first lap in.

Be careful you lot!

I do like a red Scoob, don't see many around.

Dave, hows she running with the new turbo?

Well we are back..

Thank you to all those that made this years trip a 100% success.

With all the newbies having a good time and enjoying driving round the ring.

The weather could not have been much better,

The Ring was generally very quiet on the Friday and Monday, it was that quiet yesterday I even stopped on the ring so some pictures could be taken at Pflanzgarten.

Wish I was more articulate so I could put into words how much I loved that trip. I have none. It was great getting to know you all better. Thank you to those who organised it and to everyone who came and made it such a great time. Roads, track, company, experience, all absolutely fantastic! Thank you.....

Couldn't say it better than Dave. Great bunch, great fun. Just can't believe how quickly it went. Back to crappy roads and crappy drivers.
Huge thanks to Big E for pulling it together. When do we go again?

I echo everything above. First time as a driver and loved it, Toby had a great time too and has got the bug and is now on the hunt for his own Scoob

Need to get onto Forza and learn the circuit so I at least know where the corners are, I'll post my first lap up and you'll see I have no idea where I'm going lol.

I must admit I loved my passenger lap in the Golf. The car felt great from where I was sitting, planted and sure footed. The soundtrack from the engine is great and it was being driven well too!

Another great trip

Thanks to Ron for being a top wingman in Claire's absence, although she'll be back next year i'm sure. So many laughs, a lot of miles/smiles, some great laps and superb weather. And a lot of good steak too

Great to see everyone and so much fun. Huge thanks to E for organising and to everyone else who helped make it a success for the group. It really was truly amazing in so many ways.

We really enjoyed ourselves, and as so many of you have said can't stop thinking about the next time to go over and run it or any other european track in the vicinity for that matter (cough).

Looking forward to seeing you all soon Pics will go up soon

Cheers for all the positive comments.

I am really pleased that those that had not been before really enjoyed the trip and are already talking about going again next year.

Stu's and Charlies faces were a picture just after they had completed their first laps.

Thank you very much to Stiggy for his company on what was his 4th trip.

Thank you also to everyone else that made this years trip a 100% success.

Default Photos at last

All
I have at last uploaded 40+ photos from the ring trip to Flickr for you all to see.
Very new to this so I hope everyone will be able to see them.
I'm Steve Hewitt and either dibdob561 or dibdob562

https://www.flickr.com/photos/128129498@N06/

All photos are .jpg's, and available to anyone. I also have .raw files if anyone wants to play in Photoshop.
A quick test allowed me to see them, but not download. I guess I can email them to you.
