Default Bonnet covers??

Can anyone suggest a good company who make the leather bonnet protectors... As I'm thinking about buying one for my wr1... Either that or getting the front coverd with clear vinyl... Has any one had this done and how much thanks

they're called car bras

Personally think the clear vinyl is much nicer if your paintwork is mint. Not sure how it would look if you put it on over a few chips etc.

clear vinyl can bring out stone chips, but i think iw wont be so obvious on the wr1 colour (lighter, brighter, colours are better), and its always best to get the whole bonnet done, as the edges can become visible (due to the lip between vinyl and paintwork, no matter how thin the vinyl is, it can still pick up dust n grime, and wax too)

What about silver foil, it has many great aspects

1. its shiny ( thus to reflect the sun at passing EVO's and make them crash lol)
2. it can keep the sun from burning your paintwork
3. its still very shiny and sparkly
4. it can double up as a protection for your front plus a nice wrap for a baked potato ( POTAAAATOOOOOO in a bad Irish tone)
5. its easier to get creases out, just rip off and replace
6. its cheap, even cheaper if you buy Tesco Blue Stripe version
7. its shiny (mmmm shiny)
8. protects you and the car from alien brain waves (very important)
9. no need to wash off bugs , just replace

And lastly its Shiny (have I said that too much)

Just a thought in my mad moment of bored state of mind
