My Ra was lucky to move more than once each month

The trooper only covered 4000 miles last year and 1700ish of that was Germany and back

When mine was only used once a week from Jan to March, it would always smell like it had a oil leak.

Now its doing 60 miles a day again, nothing.

I find with mine unless you take it on a run at least once a month.

The battery will be flat.

I have to top up the battery with a trickle charge.

Dont park it with the handbrake on.

You prob have a leak and burn it off now, as before it built up and burnt off for a while

I dont like warming a car up on idle..

start it up and drive off.. idling it will take longer to warm up therefore in the maxximum wear situation for longer.. cold engine.. just drive off and stay below 3000rpm.. imho

Most years mine covers between 1 and 2k miles a year.
The only issue i had with mine was replacing tyres with 90% of wear left because they had cracked and perished.

As Big E said battery goes flat if left for more than a month.
In winter mine gets sorn and sits for 4 or 5 months.

I guess idling it every couple of weeks if not going to drive it maybe better than leabing it untouched for four months.

Agreed

I sit on my drive for about 15 seconds after starting, enough time to get the seat belt on and check my chisled good looks in the mirror , then set off. Never getting on boost until warmed up.

Our sits on the drive for about 2-4 weeks at a time and then I take it for a run usually to a meet, never had an issue.

The only thing I would add is, when I get where I'm going, I do always give it at least 30 secs at rest before I turn it off.

I normally turn the key, have a fag then jump in when finished (fag) and pop off but dont blow her out until engine is mid warm on the dash. Then when I stop, I leave it running for a little bit and turn her off.

Problem is if I pop in and out I go though 40 fags per day lol

On a fuel note, I must use 1/4 of a tank a day just sitting about hahahahhhahhahah
