Default Next car?

Well the scoob should be gone on Sunday. (Assuming the coolant leak isn't anything more sinister!). It is a very sad time, I have had the car coming up 3 years. This is impressive as previously I'd never owned a car more than 3 months and in 5 years driving I've had 13 or so cars! I think this just shows how impressive the car was and the support that came through here when I had issues.

Saying that it is an opportunity to get something else and have a bit of change. I dare say I will back in the scoob fold again in the future either with a 2.5 hawkeye or alternatively a classic as a 2nd car to mess about with.

So, as to the replacement. I have found something that seems to tick a lot of boxes at the moment. A 2003 Merc CLK55 AMG? My annual mileage is going to be low now and insurance is surprisingly cheap. (I already know about the Valeo radiator issues for any smarty pants out there!)

Havent got it yet! Sorry forgot to make that clear lol. Turns out its the water pump not the coolant hose. Will still be done by the weekend though.

Hopefully will be collecting the merc next week sometime if I can get things sorted. Will flood the forum with pics when I've got it though!

Yes this car will cost you quite a bit, I should know as I had an E class and understand the running costs. Good luck in the snow as MBs are the "WORST" cars in the world in snow, believe me I have been there digging out and pushing the pigging things.

Enjoy, I am sure the AMG will sound sweet and bring a huge smile to your face !!!

Toot toot!!
