Default air bag warning warning light

Need help pls guys, my wrx has got the airbag warning light on dash, not sure why, it just came on yesterday morn when ali was driving it.
It seems to be running fine, does anyone have comp to plug it into to check system for me pls,

I think its on a different ecu so not accessible via the normal methods.

I've got a spare wheel and airbag if you want to check it against that.

You haven't stuffed anything under the front seats have you? Might have pulled one of the wires out.

Not as far as i know, asked ali if she put anything under seats but its a big NO!
Do you think it main dealer or auto electrician, don't like elec probs, normally means money!

Try fiddling with the connection under the seat, as every time my mate adjusts his seat, it brings his airbag light on. Maybe your partner adjusted the seat, which put the light on.

Thanks, Have looked under seat, is the ecu under there as i can't see a box, or is it just connections, is it under driver seat, also its a wagon if it makes a difference

I have a spare resistor here if you get to the stage you want to test it on connectors under seats etc to see if it extinguishes light from when i took my airbag seats out


On a 53 im not sure it would have airbags in seat so possibly steering wheel or passenger airbag related

As above though most likely to be a loose connection

Airbags are on both seats in mine ,, connectors under both seats and bright yellow so not hard to spot
