Default Selling Advice

Hi all

I have come to that time in my life where the wife is pregnant and I have just put the 4th car on the drive (vw Toureg) and have been told to sell some. Unfortunately this is going to be the scooby. It is a low millage 46k, 55 Reg last of the blob eyes. Blue/Gold wheels colour. Completely standard apart from factory Prodrive.

I hate selling cars, especially getting 17yr olds asking if i would swap their corsa as part ex or african emails asking if i would pay the delivery to export to africa.

Just wondering if anyone knows anyone who is looking for this type of car. I was thinking of asking 9.5k as the last one i saw with this millage and condition sold for 10k at a dealer.

Just starting doing my research and testing the water really.

Pics to follow.

I'd advertise it on forums like this and Scoobynet, plus Pistonheads.

I assume for that money its a STI rather than WRX, but from the brief description the price sounds a little high. It depends if you want to sell it quickly or wait for a while on the off-chance that someone might bite.

To be honest I think 9.5k is a bit high, but if your in no rush to sell and the car is in mint condition and you get the right person then you could maybe get close to 9k. But most widetrack STIs tend to sell for around the 8k mark dependent on mileage, condition and service history.
