Mayday: The Passenger Who Landed a Plane today on Channel 4 at 21:00

Documentary revealing how great-grandfather John Wildey was forced to assume the controls of a small aircraft when his friend and pilot collapsed in the cockpit while they were 1,500ft in the air. The sudden crisis occurred in October 2013, when the pair were flying home after a day out in north Lincolnshire, and John had to navigate the plane through the dark with help from Humberside Airport Air Traffic Control and an RAF rescue helicopter. Those who helped to guide him through the ordeal describe what happened.
