Default Coolant dumped on way to work this morning :(

A few miles from my place this morning on way to work ( only using the scoob as no use of work van atm) and I noticed the temp gauge was 2/3 up and rising, I was only cruising is as I drive pretty conservatively to and from work so I pulled over ASAP and found evidence of coolant in the bay and no coolant in res tank. I was on a dual carriageway and a few miles from home so I put in the 1ltr water I had in the car in and nursed it back home keep a very close eye on the temp. The temp didn't ever hit red but preying no other damage done when I take a look at it at the weekend...

Hoping it's just a leak on a hose or the rad :/....

It's probably a tiny hole in one of the rad hoses mate, I had it on mine and as the car warmed up the holes would expand and leak out, what car is it mate?

Should be fine mate mine is a bugeye so roughly the same, and I know the coolant hoses are a common fault and are well known for splitting or getting pinhole holes, and as long at it didn't overheat too much you should be fine mate
