The map can have alot to do with it. More aggressive fueling and boost etc...

My v4 type R gets 220-230 odd at best out of about 50 litres, and sometimes more near to 200 depending on how I drive it! Obviously even less on the track (342 BHP).

My bug get 290-330 depending. (270BHP).

Not sure if your RB5 has a bigger fuel tank than my classic but that might be what is helping? Seems very good economy for the power yours is running.

Mines a 2.5 and I've had 300 from a tank once! Usually only 240 though!

You guys actually look at mpg!

I allow 1 tank in the scoob each month, when it's out it's out. I have to justify to myself if I use anymore. But I don't hold back and worry about figures.

Use diesel car for rest of month, since getting that I actually can't remember the last time I filled up.

Sounds too good to be true......
At idle / cruise the Map won't have much to do with it as it will be using the lambda to control the fuelling.
Most cars when mapped normally run better MPG due to MAF controlled fuelling being set leaner, as the standard maps run quite rich (very rich on early WRX and PPP cars at 2/3rd to full throttle)

Sounds about right because 1 lap of The Ring is normally 1/4

Classics must be relatively light aren't they?

So that and a 2.5 engine should do well.

I've had 340 odd miles from a tank before. Pretty boring though!
