Default nightmare day

so i set off at 7am this morning with my brother to collect my new scooby
Arrived and all looked well there was a bit of smoke on idle as the seller described
So we did the deal and headed home but after a mile or so once the engine warmed the smoke started getting worse from under the bonnet too! i plooded on until i could pull into a layby and we popped the bonnet revealing a huge ploom of smoke and oil dripping from the turbo far worse than the seller had led me to beleive! ! So there was only one choice! recovery after 5 and a half hours the truck finally arrived all in all a 12hour round trip haha
However i do have the turbo from wagon si ready to go on and at the price i got it for i think its a real bargain and with some tlc from me is going to be a real nice car
It will all be worth it in the end! !! Just glad to be home having a cold beer

Thats really bad luck, but hopefully thats it now and you can enjoy the car, once the turbo is sorted. Lets see some pics

They are easy to use and get nice results. Noticeable difference polishing after using a clay bar and makes the paint nice and smooth. To start I would recommend the meguires kit from halfords or can be ordered on sites like polishedbliss. It's a gentle one and you can't really go wrong.

That's as cheap as chips. As you say, good base for very little money.

Yeah i thought worst case another engine say £500 and it will still be a very cheap car but hopefully its just the turbo but only time will tell it needs a bit of tlc but generally its been really well looked after
I need a new n/s wing but the rest of the body is really good
And the interior is damn near immaculate even the drivers seat shows no wear! !
I cant wait to get it sorted so i can start enjoying it and make a few changes to get it looking and driving spot on
