Well, when I say replacement, not its 'real' replacement, but a good car for day to day. Leased this one for a couple of years so I could free the money up from the scoob and put it to good use. I needed something a little more subtle for work and cheaper to run so this fits the bill. Averaging 60mpg

Nice one matey
![]() That will do the trick won't it. Like you say, not the real replacement. That MPG will make a nice change for sure. |

Very nice, driven a company car TDI170 a few times and very nice rapid road car which will do 50mpg all day long. But I'd give it a month before your board of it, and it just becomes a tool, and not something that makes you want to go for the keys and a drive for the hell of it.
When you get yourself sorted, and back on your feet. Get yourself a weekend toy of some sort to compliment it to make you feel alive and remind you why you do what you do ![]() |

nice!
cant fault my golf TDI tbh, its does everything you ask of it and current average is 54.5mpg.. and mines the older mk5.. the spare cash from not spending it on fuel for the 45k miles I do a year I have ploughed into the racecar ![]() Simon
