Cool Crowmans Big Day Out

Yesterday, Martyn had rather a special day out. Luckily for me, he was able to take someone with him and he asked me to join him!

Martyn's P1 Prototype was chosen as the example car for a new TV series being screened in the autumn, to show a shining example of the Subaru Impreza Marque.

Made by the same company who make Wheeler Dealers, the programme will be aired on Nat Geo and is titled "Strippers". In which cars are broken and sold by two teams, the one who gets the most cash from the parts they sell wins. Martyns programme will be when 1 team has an Evo to break and one team a Scooby.

We had a fantastic time, were really well looked after and just generally had a fookin blast all day. Cheers for letting me tag along pal

Below are just a few pictures for now, no time today really. More to follow next week.

Sounds a strange programme, unless I'm missing something, any programme called strippers should involve some

At last I'm home and had chance to look at pics on decent screen.
Wow, thanks Steve love them.
Big thanks for coming along pal, can't believe we got the car , quick detailed, sealed and waxed in about an hour before they started shooting .

The crew thought we were nuts

Was a crackin day for sure .
Expenses paid , lunch sorted out too

I have some pics and a few vids , mainly of the Koenig. , serious porn that was.

Looking forward to seeing the show in September, a long day considering it will almost certainly once cut , be 30 seconds of footage
Certainly going to add to its portfolio .

Thanks for the coments chaps , I don't Want to come across as showing off, I'm just really chuffed

Gutted to not be able to make it an Admin day out guys, but family had to take priority as you know

Great pics as always Steve wasted doing what your doing for a living can't wait to see the others......

Martyn, great to hear how well the day went for you most important thing is, finally you realise just how special that car you have is after all the attention of the last two days, still want a spec-C?

This must rate as one of your best long weekends spot on TV shoot Friday and a great day out yesterday at the P1 annual meet at Banbury Car looked stunning yesterday, honestly the cleanest I've seen it turning heads on the M25 /M40 would be an understatement even the GT3rs slowed to take a look

Think the Rover Turbo was gutted as he gave it plenty of beans His face was a picture seeing that I didn't change down

They were not looking to shabby together.....

Thanks for the coments mate
It was a real shame you couldn't make it .
Bad bloomin timing , I really hope everything is good now with your family thing.

Has been a crackin few days for sure. Loved that very sexy GT3 RS driving along side for a while having a good look , then giving a nod and smile as he pulled away .
As for the Rover coupe trying it on , pmsl .

The pair do look smart in the picture, shame prodrive wasn't open , I want to have a chat about the prototype , have a few questions about it .

Very cool! As said, a bit more history for the car (because it hasn't got enough ) and sounds like you had a good day out as well.

Oh, and great photos too!
