Oil change
Made these at work in about half an hour, makes getting undertray off/ changing oil a lot easier, might increase height by another 2".

Does it really make that much difference?

I made 4 of them so it lifts the whole car by about 3". My car has been lowered by about 1.5" which made things a bit tight.

I have a set of car ramps but having front only up in the air effects oil level reading, or do you push car of the ramps to fill with oil?

For me i would put it up on the ramps and drain the oil out plus being in that position means the oil has a better chance of fully draining out. replace drain plug obviously, take it off the ramps or jack and fill when car is level to get a true reading.

Lol, there not mine fella i nicked the pics from a google search. Looks like Craftsman on the label from what i can see, could be american but i have a good draper jack and stands that do the job. I just put a nice piece of wood between them and the car to stop any markings on the underseal.

I have used the rubber bonded to metal sump washers on my last two oil changes, dont seem to be offered the compression type anymore? + only do the filter up hand tight- but always need to use the puncture with a screwdriver method to get the bast4rd off
