Another locking nut thread?
I assume they are locking nuts. Have looked everywhere but cant find it, craig said he never saw it and sam said he left it in the glove box.
All 5 wheel nuts on each wheel have this on it: Any ideas how to get them off? |

These are used when a wheel wrench won't go over the end of a standard nut due to the size of the hole surrounding it on the alloy. They unscrew by the use of a adapter that goes in the middle hole. Fairly common. eg. £1.61 Demon Tweaks: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Produc...FbIPtAodjnQAmw

Pleasure.
Check the size you need. The link was just an example.

If there made of Ali, I would ditch them. Look nice at first, and weigh sod all, but take them off a few times, and you risk them twisting.....which sometimes then you cant get them off.
You can get a nice steel set instead.

If you have a £100 or so to spare try Rays Duralium - light AND strong. . . and colour coded.

Don't buy the hollow alloy D1 spec nuts there ****e! As nick has said they twist after a while or they twist if you let a tit run them up with a rattle gun like somebody I know did to mine!!!! Oh and they come loose after a run out when they get hot. Ditched mine and bought a set of tpi tuner nuts.
