Morning all, on the boat

Sea is lovely and calm. Really quiet on board, managed a fry up before we'd left dock and no queues for food at all. managed to join the truckers lounge WiFi without needing the password so thought I'd see the latest chat on here.

Got the new splitter and fog lamp covers on the car yesterday - huge thanks to Tangowayne for painting them, and the front of the car looks complete again.

Looking forward to sharing some beers with the rest of you on Friday evening!

Well, that was interesting. Got within an hour of leuven and my mobile rang, was the hotel calling to let us know there was a problem with our room. Apparently last nights guest had been ill and yacked up all over the carpet! They apologised loads and felt a bit sorry for them as they were fully booked and had no spare rooms to move us too. Luckily the guys English was excellent so he phoned round and found us another hotel about 10mins away, slightly closer to the historic old part of town.

Stressful 30 mins not knowing where we'd end up, but all sorted now. Added bonus is this hotel has a private parking garage so the scoob is nicely tucked away, other hotel meant using the underground public car park down the road.

I need a beer now!

The hotel we are staying at is an old fashion hotel retaining the old electricity method.
2 pin holes in the wall and there is a small handle beside it the you rapidly turn to the right.
30 quick turns of the handle will give you around 3 minutes of power.

DONT turn it to the left as it blows fuses and Jackie gets the hump !
