Rob, no problem at all.

The 2 rooms at the B&B are booked provisionally, so there's 2 straight off the bat. If you are going, I would get onto this fairly quickly if I were you, as it's a bank holiday over there that weekend, so thing will get booked up. Check out the Ben Lovejoy website or even the official Nurburgring website for local accommodation too.

I will get in touch with Jackie again and let her know what's happening and ask where she would recommend. Will you take the 2 B&B rooms? I won't cancel them yet, but would ask if you could let me know ASAP so we can get them cancelled if you don't want them.

And remember that we can always make some room at Jackies if you are struggling to get anywhere

I can't see the 2 B&B rooms being much good tbh. We would need to be in the same place, and although I haven't spoke to my party yet. I would say with reasonable certaintly if your speaking with Jackie to let those rooms go.

Will get surfing tonight and see what we can find...... But could struggle by the sounds of it. Looks like we might have to go a little further out, so if Jackie can recommend any picturesque towns with a bit of life and a few bars that we might get in, would be great. If not will try the power of google

Steve, if you really - and I mean really - don't need these two rooms in the B&B I would like one of them. I've already e-mailed Jackie that I will take what is left when you guys are sorted as I can only stay for one night anyway, from the 26th to the 27th. If nothing's left I will simply do what I did last year: turning up in the morning and going back home at night.

Ok mate, fair enough. The main hotel at the GP circuit is quite nice. Theres always Cochem as a place to base yourself, we always go there for a day anyway. It's about a 25 min drive, but a good twisty drive

I will go and have a look in a minute mate and see what I can find too

Kerstin, I thought you had already arranged a room with Jackie, I'm so sorry.

Of course there is a room with your name on it at the B&B, I will make sure of that

No need to be sorry, Steve. I didn't put my name on the list on purpose because I can only stay for one night and I didn't want to block a room for this one night that could be used by someone who stays for 5 days. Would have been unfair I thought. I wanted to wait till you guys are sorted. This was what I have told Jackie as well. After all, if the worse comes to the worst I do have the option to go back home.

Many thanks for thinking of me though and for sorting it out, Steve.

I couldn't have sorted a room out earlier anyway as I had to sort out work first as I actually have the dayshifts that weekend. So I had to find someone who loves going to work for me on a bank holiday weekend. And my boyfriend wanted to sort it out with his company, too. But he failed. So my brother is coming with me now.

If the single room i had last year can be made into a double you had better be very good friends with the other person as it will be very snug

I agree, the wrong way too.

But if they can't all get in together in Adenau or at the Ring complex, it is a good last resort option.

No worries Steve, I'm onto to it for them and already have some rooms lined up in Adeneau as last resort (Hotel doesn't look the greatest inside : http://www.hotel-zum-wilden-schwein.de/index_d.php) but still enquiring elsewhere.

I will prob bunk up with them, if we can find enough rooms, as myself and Shane go back 20+ years with Rob and his Bro's so only seems fair I help them out and also sticks Shane with people he know's too.

Will keep you posted and will confirm if/when my room becomes avaialble.

Good stuff Scott. Those rooms look very traditional. Maybe we could do the Saturday meal there?

If you are staying with them I could do with knowing ASAP please mate, just so I can get Granby sorted, then all the rooms are squared away

Hi Jason

You haven't put your name on this list?

It's not too late to do so, so if you are coming you need to add your name now really mate. The way things are panning out there will be a room, either at the Hotel or the B&B just down the road, so no real problems.

Posts were put up on the previous thread stating that the official one would be going up at Christmas, as is the case every year. This is because people add their names after seeing some pictures and then are never seen again. This way we get a true list at the time of confirming the hotel.

Please make sure you keep an eye on the thread from ere on, as we need the deposits by end of Feb and payment details will be posted soon. If deposit is not paid by end of Feb, rooms against that name will be cancelled.

Cheers matey

Steve

He is on the list Steve, Reserves1 Jason Heath & someone else - standard/comfort double/twin

Quote:
Comfort Doubles / Twins @ 88 euro's per night

One of these can be made into a triple room, so I will do the decent thing and offer that to someone who wants to join Jay & Myself.

1: Steve Green & Jay - Comfort Twin (TRIPLE ROOM IF SOMEONE WANTS TO JOIN US) - FERRY BOOKED - 88 euro's per night
2: Martyn Chapman Smith & Richard Ninnis - Comfort Twin - 88 euro's per night
3: Steve & Claire Gates - Comfort Double - 88 euro's per night
4: Clive Phillips & Heather Phillips - Comfort Double - 88 euro's per night

Standard double/twin @ 78 euro's per night

4 of these rooms can be made into triples.

5: Tim Critchlow and Sim Bonnett - Twin - 78 euro's per night
6: Ian Pain & Pete Stockley - Twin - 78 euro's per night
7: James Nash & Adrian - Twin - 78 euro's per night
8: Joel & Jess Theobald - double - 78 euro's per night
9: Nige + 1 - Twin - 78 euro's per night - FERRY BOOKED
10: Daz & Lucia - Double - 78 euro's per night

Single / Twin @ 52 euro's per night

All three of these single rooms can be made into cheap twins.

11: Scott & Shane - - Twin - 52 euro's per night - FERRY NOT BOOKED MIGHT GET THE TUNNEL (£89)
12: Greg + 1 - - Twin - 52 euro's per night
13: Adam Greensmith && Tom Gray - - Twin - 52 euro's per night

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the cut off point for the rooms available in standard format, I'm really sorry chaps. But as stated there is plenty of scope to share in a room or use 2 twin rooms at the B&B down the road ( a couple of minutes away by car.) Can you please indicate which route you would prefer to take, either buddying up, or offsite? We have a potential 8 beds we can get made up to share rooms at Jackies, then the 2 twins at the B&B, so that potentially caters for everyone with maybe 1 person missing out.

14. Ian Mitchell - Single

RESERVES:
R1: Jason Heath & someone else - standard/comfort double/twin
R2: Rob (RobEvo5) and another Trevor - Any room with 2 beds or a bed and a sofa - TUNNEL
R3. Simon (Robs Brother) and another probably Steve.P - Any room with 2 beds, or 2 single rooms - TUNNEL
R3. Robs/Simons mates Matt and Russ - Any room with 2 beds or a bed and a sofa -TUNNEL
R4. Rob/Simons mates, Griff and Rich - Any room with 2 beds, Or 2 single rooms -TUNNEL
R5. Rob/Simons mates - Steve and another - Any room with 2 beds or even 2 singles if needs be.

15: Kerstin @ B&B
R1: Jason Heath & someone else - standard/comfort double/twin

Following Scotts earlier post, if he manages to get a batch of rooms for Rob and the crew, he will go and stay with them. If this happens as we expect, Granby will move up to the hotel list, leaving Kerstin & Jason with the 2 rooms at the B&B.

Please bear with us folks, we will get there

Had a bit of a blast round the hotels today and the majority are booked !!!!!
Why don't UK businesses reply as quick as the German's, as fast as I was emailing I was getting answer's.........it all got very confusing.

Anyway, after unravelling all of the replies, I have managed to find 4 Hotels with enough accomodation to fit Rob's 10, plus Shane and I.

Therefore, you can take me of the Worzel's Palace thread, to free it up for someone else.

I'll let you know where we staying and what the other availability is when we have decided and booked ourselves in one of them .

They are so good to deal with aren't they. If only they could be like that over here. Good old German efficiency

I will take you from the thread then mate. Obviously any problems let me know, we could still do some shuffling about I'm sure

Thanks for getting it done so quickly too, it really helps a lot, much appreciated

Nice one Greg..

Dave H as wing man result.

Now which vehicle???

It will be good to have someone that knows about scoobs and EVOs along with us.
I hope he brings his spanners could come in handy.

Fingers crossed though perhaps this year there wont be any casualties.

I have changed the cost of the cheap twins as requested by Jackie, as these are 10 euro's a night more expensive. So number 12 & 13 on the list are now @ 62 euro's per night.
