Default Club Flags/Banners

Spoke to Steve about this, in our field of cow poo, eating, well Cooked Cow

Kent and Surrey have those "flappy flags" to promote the club at meets, I know there a tad expensive but I quite happily donate some money to go towards getting a pair.

Or even get some of the thread sponsors on board?

Anyone else have a thought on them?

£150 all in for the pair including VAT, 2 x 6m poles, 2 heavy duty groundstakes, delivery & bespoke artwork from an existing jpeg of the logo.

Cost savings can be made by going for a smaller pole, smaller flag, different style of flag (eg windsock) etc if required.

thats a good price - when we had a look around we were finding them for £120-150 each! who supplied them?

As Nick says, we were having a chat and it would be nice to find a way of raising enough to just get a few good bits for clubs stands etc - to make us look a bit more of a club rather than a car park

I arranged the Surrey ones though The FlagMan who I found through The Bay.

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/THE-FLAG-SHOP

Also has his own webbie linked on eBay http://www.theflagman.co.uk/, so the above will give you contact details. Nice chap, and was very accomodating and helpful. Mocked up some pics of the final product, sourced a light blue material specially for us, and was very free with the advice. Would recommend.

Ours are "Swooper flags" for reference.

Rich

When I get back to work, I will be sorting out the paypal donation thing with Admin & my man Dave!

It's one of the things that Admin (yes, we do actually do things ) and we are sorting out a way for the advertisers on this site to make donations to the club, just for things like this.

Give me a couple of days to get back on my feet, as it's not simple doing those kind of things from my phone. Good call though nick!
