Default Road Tax....

Just taxed the scoob for another year, go the reminder through for £215, just done it online and got charged £245

I love my 2 pre-2001 cars

Still hate paying road tax as i feel im not getting anything back from it

Got 2 cars & 2 vans, paying over £800 a year tax

It's fookin shocking stuff.

I wouldn't mind so much but we pay so much in fuel duty, on top of the road tax.

For what? The most expensive petrol in Europe and the ****tiest roads to drive on in Europe. We mst all be ****ing mugs to put up with it. If they tried this in France for instance, there would be all sorts of **** happening, blockades, strikes, protests.

Just going to take something for my blood pressure

I'm post 2001 and still in the 245 as apposed to 400 odd...

My scoob was registered in 2006. I was still paying the pre-2001 price. Emma's 1998 type R was registered in uk in 2004 i think and is also in the pre-2001 price.

May be worth getting in touch with DVLA if yours is higher

It all changed in April 07, i spoke to them, if it is after that date then you are just unlucky

I am up for a blockade or a strike but can we do it on foot as the fuels abit pricey lol

Sammi was £125 just after christmas, waiting to see what R2 will be, was £35 last year.

just done mine and it had gone up 20 quid from when i got the reminder.they've got a licence to print money and just plain rob us.
