Default Brown trouser moment

Fitted new injectors today.
Bit tricky, but not that hard a job.
Had to use adapter kit as was fitting phase 2 to phase 1 fuel rail.
Ok all back together, turned ignition on to prime pump, check for leaks , all ok.
Cranked car over and it turned half a stroke and stopped , tried again and it was as if it was seized, Oops!
Time to call Scott - AKA Silversurfer
Was advised it was likely to be an injector not seated well, letting fuel leak down side into bore, so i took drivers side plugs out and cranked over and yes a load of fuel squirted out the front cylinder.
I removed the injector applied a little silicon grease to o rings again and refitted, held my breath and cranked over, Thank fook it fired up straight away.
I had also fitted new coil packs.
Sounds sweet as a nut

Thanks to Scott - Top man, I hope you got your lawn finished.

Glad you got it sorted in the end. Makes your heart sink when it fails to start after doing something to the engine

Fuel pump already fitted, need to source pressure regulator, then booking a day with Scott to fit Power FC and AVCR and of course re map.
Then plenty more overtime before i get the K sport 8 pots.

How many months is it until Germany!!!

About 6.5. What about the suspension?

I bet that will be done the 2nd week of May.

ps. will it go fast enough to warrant the 8 pots??

LOL... yeh wasn't quite sure when in the conversation to mention compression lock and you may of bent a rod !!!!
Glad it's all sorted.

Tip is to do with plugs out, until all back together and turned over. check for fuel pissing out of plug hole which would be an indication of a side feed seal leaking.
if no exess fuel and seems ok, fit plugs and fire up.

Will pm you about the Apexi AVCR fitting
