Default Another Classic for the Collection (1/18)

I thought is was about time I had a '555' and the prices at Goodwood this year could not be missed :

Always good to have the long arm of the law to keep the Evo's in check (and yes there are Recaro's in the Police Scoob and a camera mounted by the rear view mirror) :

And the 1:43 Subaru Collections :

£40.
Most places sell between 59 & 79, although I did spot an eBay seller doing it for £40 last night.

My son's also got a LaFerrari in white for £30 and a Mercedes SLS GT3 for £30.

You can get a 98 Type-R in 1/18 in white but it is quite rare and from the 2nd hand market only.
It is the same as the Blue and Yellow Type-R's above from AutoArt.
You are looking at something around the £120-£170 mark though, as AutoArt Subaru prices sky rocketed a few years back when they became discontinued.

I paid from £19.99 - £45 for those. Ebay now pitches these in at £100 - £200

22B Road Car.
This is the one I always regret never buying.
I stood in Hamley's London many years ago and they were knocking out a pile of these for around £20-£30 a piece, they normally retailed at around £50 IIRC for the road car at £70 for the Rally Version :

Police Version :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTOART-1-...item1e78d5f041

This is a bit of a bargain for a Police, Cossack Mk2 and a Focus :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autoart-1-...item2c9d3ff682

Yellow Type-R, I paid £19.99 for mine from Pound Stretcher (of all places), after a tip-off from a friend :

Apologies, the white one isn't a Type-R but a 4-Door :

The Goodwood prices are usually good, but this year there were some utter bargains.

You've got a nice collection there.

Nice collection! I keep tempting myself with the Sunstar 555 Impreza, but I haven't got any space to put it in at the moment!

Might be too late, but if not then cancel it and you can get it here for £40:

Once I have unpacked everything in the new house I will hopefully have space for a Sunstar Group A Impreza!

I was going to say that's good news for anyone who doesn't want to pay a fortune for one of the originals on ebay...

...but then I saw how much the re-release costs! Personally not keen on the carbon bonnet version: I'll have one in the original blue please!
