oil cooler
is there any disadvantages to using a front mount oil cooler ? going to running in the 420bhp area

I was going to top mount mine, but as I don't use on the track there is no point for road use other than it looks good

Was talking about this earlier. The only disadvantage is if it keeps your oil too cool thus doing more harm than good. If you can set it so it opens at say 110 degrees then shuts again at 90-95 it would be worth it. All IMHO of course.

I've never had one with a thermostat, trooper and my RA
Summer months when it's needed it will never keep it to cool and in the winter it was only the really cold minus days it never got over 70 and then I never drove the car or just covered the cooler

Im with stu on this stat version all day long if i was going to do it. For road use i would spend your money else where.
