Default Laptop help

Looking to spend about £300/£350 on a new laptop, what's a good buy? and is windows 8 really crap? might be interested in a higher spec/ nearly new/warranted one, thanks in advance for any replies.

most windows 8 installs now come with a "roll back" option to windows 7 as standard,.. nuff said... If you can wait it out 6 or 7 months Windows 9 is on the horizon.. I doubt they will ditch the annoying touch screen orientated stuff though.

By from a reputable decent brand at that money and you cant really go wrong.

I don't mind windows 8, think it's pretty good. Just bought a MacBook Pro though, will do me for what I use it for.

Most of my customers come to me for a new system with Windows 7 as they don't want/like 8. £300-350 is entry level for a laptop so don't expect anything fantastic or high spec. As above, Doobs Scoob's laptop deals seem very good value for money

Unfortunately I am sold out at the moment. Other than 1 8440p which I was planning on keeping for myself as a spare. That said I could be talked into letting it go.
