Default Florida holiday

Right I want to take the misses and kids to florida in oct 2015, I can only find prices for oct 2014 as it only goes upto aug 2015 and I know aug is more expensive, I'm also taking my mum dad and younger brother, so all in all there is 5 adults and 3 kids. I've found a package deal for oct 2014 for £5300 for flights and villa, firstly do you think the price will change much from 2014 to 2015. Secondly for anyone that's been I'm looking for the best place to but the park tickets, I know Thomas Cook does the package for all parks for around £850 pp but is there anywhere online that people have used? Lastly I'm thinking about £3500 spending money for me, misses and our 3 kids, mum dad and brother will have to get thee own spending money. We're going for 14 nights and I know that out there kids under 9 eat free in most places.
If there is anyone on here that's been and can give me some tips on getting the best deal for all of us it would be much appreciated. I don't want to go too cheap and have a crap holiday but also I don't really want to spend more than say £10k all in. Thank you very much in advance for any replies.

We spend a week in florida over xmas. Cost us 5k all n. We booked the flights about 9 months in advance so were cheap(er). Stayed in a nice hotel at the bottom of i-drive

We bouht a 4 day disney pass from a company called undercover tourist. Me my mrs and 8 year old was about £520 for the passes. We also went to Seaworld whuch was about £200 entrance fee for the 3 of us. We got a deal as we were staying in a Seaworld affiliated hotel. We also spent a day shopping. Branded clothes are cheap so worth stocking up!

I wouldnt say food in much cheaper than the uk

We had a great time. I think even if you went for a month they'd be something different to do everyday

Thanks for that dano glad to hear you enjoy it mate, I bet it's magical over there at Xmas. I've been looking at Kissimmee as it seems a little bit cheaper than I-drive as it's a little further out, but still only 20mins from Disney. We will also be trying to do discovery cove and swim with the dolphins (not me I hate swimming lol) just bookmarked undercover tourist on my iPad so it's saved as there are some great deals on there so thanks for that, do you book flights and hotel separate or do you do it as a package deal? I'm sure 2 weeks will be enough but if I can get a good enough deal for 3 weeks then why not hey. Thanks again mate

yeah we booked separate. We stayed at the Springhills Marriot by SeaWorld. Was nice, nothing too flash but pretty comfortable and a good price. Was at the bottom of I Drive, the further north you go the more commercial it feels. Lots of neons and a bit English tacky seaside resort feel

SeaWorld was my favourite actually, didn't have time for Discovery Cove

Its weird at xmas, they have trees and decorations, but everything is still open and it was 26 degrees lol. We went to Magic Kingdom xmas day, the busiest day of the year! Tens of thousands of people there. We got there at 10am and left at 1am. What a day lol
