Default Morning at hayes engineering with R/R

Afternoon guys,

My freind asked me to jump in with him to get is Evo 8 Power run and health checked over at Haynes Engineering in Erith. I said yea of cause but may as well put the bug on also.
so left hastings at 10am got there for 11.20, got some brews in while the owner finished mapping off an evo 10.
Really nice guy, knew his evoH's well and was honest with me and said dont have much to do with scoobs as not his thing, thought fair enough least hes honest about it, wasnt a scooby hater just not had much to do with them,
He was telling us that the evo 10 he had just mapped was totally standard, fq 300 base mapp 264bhp... and said hes never seen one make the true claimed 300, i was shocked, but the guy left happy with 320bhp after a mapp tweek.

Right onto mine. all loaded up, me with a brew in my freezing hands and watching lol, made 300.2bhp with 290ft. @1.3 bar tailing of to just below 1.1bar, car is running ok, did det once at 6k, fueling is at 11.9afr. now my bug sti is a ppp, with full decat miltek, cosworth filter and a mapp tweek by powerstaion for the decat, this seems rather low i thought but the boost is low.
My freinds evo made 340bhp

Heres a few pics, i know we all like surrey R/r but for some thats a trek over and seeing my freind was going i thought id tag along, and the service is good there so worth a go if your kent based and just want a power run..

Running a bit lean.
Would be worth checking the IAM to see if it's pulled any timing, which would explain the power. But it' not too low considering boost levels at the top end being only 1.1bar.

I can check if need be and also check the fuelling out on the road.

Will know if it's running as it's told once we dump the map.
I expect it's had more of a tweak then a remap.

I'd let Lee map it, but not Bob myself
