Could not sleep here ftom 3 till just after 4. Managed to get a couple of hours after that. Think we are ok. A large tree out the back has split a large limb off but too far from us to cause damage to our fencing.

Couldn't sleep between about 1-3am, but dozed off after that.

Commute was interesting this morning, lots of trees down all over the place.

Slept like a log as the twins appeared to have liked the noise and stayed asleep for the first time in 4 weeks!!. Not much damage here though, just the odd fence panel as usual.

I don't see anyone making a joke of the people that died today, more like making fun of ourselves

Maybe not but after i posted of the local lad that died, you still post how can you recover from wheelie bins falling over, and no one posts about the losses people have suffered especially when its local to us!!!!!

But as long as your wheelie bins/fence panels and posts LIVE to fight another day then thats all ok!!!!

How did you make fun of yourself... Your acting like it was nothing as you didn't have any damage when others lost ones they love

I don't think anyone was playing down what happened to that child in seaford. At no point has anyone inferred that and we're just saying for most the storm wasn't as bad as predicted.this thread had escalated unneceassarily so let's put a line underneath and I'll get the thread closed
