Little update,
fitted stock gearknob, removed the piller gauges and fitted stock piller back in as did'nt like having two gauges in my eye sight 2nd was to high..
Had the car serviced,
Prodrive front bumper..

Got this gauge pod for the center of the dash, but the fitment is poor, so just put the stock clock back in.

Today i have ordered H&R Springs and Samco airbox hose from a very helpful Revolution
And a Cosworth Panel Filter.

Next is mapp on the cards and do something with boost gauge location.I'm thinking something like this link as small and tucked down-

Are you aware the blacks don't match between bugs and blobs and it'll need repainting?

The bugeyes were black with a blue hue in the paint whereas the blobs were black with a gold fleck in. Just thought i'd mention in case you were planning on just swapping the bumpers straight over....

Cool, it does make it a lot newer looking from the rear. I changed my rear lights from bug to blob but didn't do the bumper.... just doing that bit makes a huge difference.

Small update

Fitted few more parts to the Scoob and thought id share,

1st off Rear blob eye lights, much much better and really happy with these.
Blob rear bumper is still sitting in my shed awaiting painting.

Fitted O.E.M Airbox coupled along with Cosworth panel filter and Samco airbox hose.

H&R lowering springs awaiting fitment coupled to a new set of kyb ultra sr shocks

Had the Car up my local scoob doctor to fit new wheel bearings, milltek welded on down pipe as fracture around a weld, also the up pipe heat shield removed as driving me around the bend rattling.

Yep, Moley did it on his blob

I think the first one he got was a bit too short though (didn't meet the raised bits on the end of the spoiler), so not sure if they're a standard size or available in different lengths...

I don't think they do. Looked up frayz one over on s'net and his doesn't still looks good I believe. Still awaiting my front shocks to arrive. Backs are here then I can lower it. Also think I'm going to get lepsons to refurbish the alloys but may hang on while crappy weather unless I can get hold of some stock sti wheels to push threw the winter

I nearly bought this car I guess around 8 years ago when it was for sale at Village Cars. Garage was very local to me in Essex. Still saw it around until about a year ago locally so I guess this is where its ended up lol

I think it was up for 11k. I know it had been mapped as the car was inside the showroom and had the dynograph in the window. I think Powerstation had done it.

Village cars were like a mini car supermarket with the odd decent car. this was one of them back then!

Hello Scooby Doo

This was my old car back in 2003-2007ish

Would love to know where you sold it on to and any pics you have still of it

Wanted to buy it back when at Village cars but couldn’t justify the expense for a weekend car

Cheers
