Default Battery Struggling

I have a Halfords HCB005 battery fitted to the Type R, new in Oct 2011. Car not used daily and often once a week for about 20 miles. The last couple of 'outings' I've noticed the battery has struggled when first starting the car. Car is garaged.

Any suggestions? Solar charger? Use the car more? Disconnect battery? Big 'E' to organise more events for me to go to

Cheers

Alan

Big `E` is a good idea but I use a trickle charger and never have any problems, fair to say I don`t use mine very often

Mine came from here, recommend the company, always had great service from them, quick delivery and local http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/S...ickle+chargers

Didn't think about the warranty as the battery was on the car when I bought it. Halfords website says 4 year warranty so I'll see how well the battery copes over the coming weeks. Thanks

Thanks for the link to the trickle charger too

Unfortunately I think you still need a receipt from Halfords to get a replacement, despite the fact that its got Halfords written on it with a big orange sticker!
