Default standard specs??

does anybody know the standard 0.60 specs of the early WRXs?? not the stis.....

and the top speeds...what did the japs say at the time..???

About 5 seconds and 140mph I think mate. That's what it says in one of my Jap Mags anyway!

Testing figures and real world figures vary greatly anyway mate. You need to be good to get near the listed 0-60 and will probably surpass the top speed. I saw the other day that a blob Sti in standard form should be able to run a 13.4 quarter mile. I've only managed to better that once with nearly 80bhp more than standard! I find launching them correctly very difficult and with the cost of clutch, or worst case transmission replacement, it's not like you can practise a lot!

hmm interesting...not really a huge difference between wrx and sti really..maybe the extra weight of body kits??
