Default New Section of SES
Having spoken to several members of SES,mainly Steve(Lucky) I think we are ready to reveal the new section of SES.A cycling team to challenge the world.Modest beginnings,London to Brighton,then a stage of the Tour de France.Recruiting will begin shortly.

Cuh, Roadies ! Seems like a blatant excuse for "men who shouldn't", to wear tight fitting lycra. Ugg. Why do people do that .?? I see hundreds of them going past my house everyday at the weekend...tis amazing what people think they can get away with !

I still get bored easily by repetitive exercise Steve, that's why I still like the MTB side. My body's been used to sports with an explosive energy release requirement, rather than for hours of pedaling at the same speed. Mind you, we still managed a 45 mile round trip down the towpath to Ash Vale (from Cobham)...with a few beers in between obviously (fuel) !

Reason I,ve started to seriously cycle is I need a change after 30 years of running albeit with some success.I've run over 70 marathons,best time of 2hrs 26mins.Couldn't get any faster so raced longer distance winning the London to Brighton plus most other ultra races in the south.Finished 7th in the 100kms World Championship.Plan to continue to run,but put a lot more miles in on the bike.Cycling in France is fantastic,you are given so much space,not that the roads are that busy.Hoping we can get a like minded group together to take on a few events,all in Subaru colours!!!

more of a trail rider myself, although obviously just getting back in to it. The bike would be happy enough on the road with a set of skinny's fitted

it does give me something else to clean after every use though

My Kinesis KM810 (full carbon)custom build by Adam at Kontour in Polegate


don't see me in any Subaru lycra anytime soon though!! would look like a boned and rolled gammon joint

Nice bike Ron

Mine is a GT Avalanche, but not got any pics. Nothing fancy as its was only about £250 new, but its done me for the last 5 years of offroad riding (although its on its 3rd rear mech amongst other things!).
