Some photos from Leuven
As most of you know, we stopped off here for 2 days on route to Germany, after worzel recommending the place (as you can guess, there's lots of places to get drunk )
Lovely town, some really cool buildings and lots of belgian beer to sample Don't know why there is a giant fly skewered by a gian pin in one of the squares..... And then theres this strange place. We were recommended to wander round it by one of the hotel receptionists - its called Groot Begijnhof and its a UNESCO world heritage site apparently. |

Looks an interesting place, the skewered fly amused me. It reminded me of an odd looking fish I saw on a pole at Plymouth.
