Guys without being to idiotic and saying to much where do you guys that are pussy-less and I don't mean don't have a misses get your cars MOT'd.

I do mate but he's in Surrey and I don't fancy driving it with no tax and mot at the moment

As long as the car is going to a booked mot you can drive as far as you want
Done this when buying a car in Scotland drove to mot station in byfleet without any problems it must be per booked
It also does not need to be taxed

Ajf is bang on the money. As long as its booked in for the mot prior to driving it there your all legal. Done this a few times my self

It doesnt have tax either and I cant tax it until i have an MOT so im proper fooked

you can drive to an from an MOT staion on the day of the test without MOT an Tax, just make sure they take your reg number down when booking

just a proviso, all of the above is true - HOWEVER if your driving the length of the country they will book you as taking the pi%%.............
it has to be within a "reasonable" distance

you can also drive to a post office for the purpose of taxing it without tax (but obviously MOT)
