Default Petrol prices

Not sure if it will make any difference but if there's over 100,000 signatures on this petition it has to be discussed in parliament.

although it is worth noting that since the rioters petition got over the 100k mark, the MP's that are supposed 2 discuss it have been moaning how the government doesnt give them enough time to do so with all the other duties thay have

I, like everyone else have been frustrated by the fuel prices recently. I do have a theory. Would it work if everyone decided to boycott "brand A" and then after a time they would be forced to lower their prices to attract customers back. Then we start using the brand again and the others would then have to lower their prices to stay in line.
Any thoughts?

This idea has been banded around on the internet for donkeys year. The idea seems sound enough, but it would never work and people are lazy - and always buy their petrol from their closest/prefered place. You're not going to get people to drive 5 miles extra just to boycott a brand thats on their doorstep.

Fewer drivers are using their cars ??????
Traffic congestion certainly doesn't suggest that?

£21,400,00 was my expenditure on fuel last year. Fookin mad.

If people won't actually do anything about it, Why bang on about it? I have 3 or 4 brands all within a 5 or 10 minute drive and would have no problem using or not using any of them. Whats a 5 minute detour if it shows these companies that actually we ARE in control of where we spend our money AND NO!!! we don't want to build up points for months at a time just to be rewarded with an insulated mug!!!
