I was glad I was sitting down when Vince mentioned how much the spares were

But as Nige says, it is top gear.

I did give Vince Carte Blanche in fairness and between him and Olly Clarke, they have put together a pretty impressive list of parts.

I am going down to Hastings on Monday to part with my wonga for the spares and drop off the Turbo and Defi's. I will take some pics and get the full list of shiny things and post it up.

I will then be available as a rent boy at Crowborough Station to pay for it all

Mate, I am so tempted to do that at the moment.

But I think if I did that right now, either death or divorce would swiftly follow

I'll post the pics in bling on Monday of the box of bits.

When It's back together I'll do a proper members profile for sure.

Picked up my wifes Zafira GSI last night after a cambelt change by Vince. And had a good gander at your motor mate. The Roger Clarke pistons all fitted are looking rather nice along with all the other bits. The old block was a bit worse for wear though.

Cleanliness is not one of Vince's strong points and your bonnet might need a good 'T' cut when you get it back. Your car is certainly taking over a good part of his workshop and can tell its a nice little project for him as well.

Should make for a very nice and quick road car when you get it back.

Thats all good to hear Rob. Just got to limp her home from Vinces, give her a clean, limp it to Japbash the following day and home again Sunday morning.

The it's being 1st mapped (run in map) on 6th October.

Meaning it will be proper ready to rock and roll for the Brugge Trip!
