Default Parking fine `Stand and Deliver`

My daughter has just received a parking fine -Quote " For One or more wheels on or over a footpath or any part of a road other than a carriageway" from Bexley council!

The fine is £110 As Victor Meldrew would say" I dont believe it"
Rant over.

how is it a £110 fine?!

a standard fixed penalty parking ticket is £60, or £30 paid within 2 weeks, isn't it??

Dont see how it can be £110, only say that because one of the people i work with, her van was given the exact same fine and she was only stopped for 2 mins, anyway there wasnt any way out of the fine because they got a photo of the van but the fine was only £60, its not normally something they fine for but recently theres been a clampdown on virtually everything.

Check the ticket fella. I got one yesterday from bexley for exactly the same thing. £110 or £55 if paid within 14 days. Got done just off wickham lane at sounds alarming. Only reason I parked with wheels slightly on the curb was so that I didn't block the road up.

Check the ref no on the the parking ticket fella just in case it is a scam the ref on mine was XL34322446 I think they should all start xl it was pretty clear about the reduced fine if paid within 14 days it was in the same paragraph that it said £110.
Just paid mine on the intermaweb and the fookers have taken £60 off me waiting for a call back on Monday as told them the extra £5 has taken me over me overdraft limit.
