Default where to purchase decent oil filter

Guys where is a good place to buy a decent oil filter from? Have herd there was a faulty batch that went out a while ago too.

Also I want to change my oil preferably before I fit my practically brand new turbo, os it ok if I just change the oil whilst cold? As I normally run the engine first for about 10min, but dont really want the old oil circulating through the turbo..

If your feeling special you can use a Mazda filter. Made by the same people that used to make the Subaru black ones, but about 1" longer, so slightly larger filtration medium. part no. N3R1-14-302
Fitted to a few friends high power builds, always use them on mine. about £11 from a Mazda dealer, I believe its standard fit on an rx-8
