I've got Scotts old H&S 3" jap style backbox up for sale, not sure if that's what you're after.

if you're interested you're welcome to try out.

Cheers for the offer Si,

I am after a box louder than the Prodrive and quieter than the Vortex

I have ordered one of these: http://www.haywardandscott.com/subar...e-backbox.html

Very similar to the TSL. Same volume but a little deeper in tone.
Had one many years ago and swapped it for the TSL.

Dono about being track friendly, I would say.. maybe if you "cheat" with your engine rpm Will probably be fine on a 105db day. Not to sure about a 102 it was quite loud, but not.. nurspec loud. You can do a rough test with your phone.

Really looking forward to hearing it on your car

Had the Haywood and Scott, Scoobyworld Racebox and the TSL and they are all very similar in sound. They are bang between a prodrive and vortex and all sound spot on so I think you will be pleased Ian. What the reason for the change?

Agree. H&S is also more raspy on full acceleration which I prefer…..

Thought H&S stopped dealing with Scoobyworld years ago – can’t remember who makes them for SW now.

The Vortex is great when you’re in the mood, but prefer the H&S as it can be quiet as well as put a smile on my face when required

mmm, nothing like a nice new shiny exhaust arriving. Used to make me want to hang it on the wall rather than put it on the car!
