Default Sports cat options

Hi all I recently had a remap on my newage Impreza and have now got 228.5 bhp which I'm happy about. Duncan done the remap and said I'd see more bhp if I was to decat the downpipe but obviously then I'd have to look for a friendly mot tester.
Just wondered if I was to fit a sports cat would I see much more on the tweak to the map and justify spending 300-400 quid for the pipe.
If the sports cat did make much of a difference what's the best makes to look at. I currently have an after burner raptor rear box with after burner 2.5 bore centre and decat midpipe (like the ppp models have)
Any advice would be great.

My 2002 Bugeye WRX was at 270 on a Miltek 3' Sports Cat system and de-cat up-pipe with a panel filter, 3 port Solenoid and Walbro 225 fuel pump.

In your case I'd look for a used STi Up-Pipe (if yours has the cat in the up-pipe) and PPP downpipe.

It would also make sense to possibly look into fitting a VF34 or 35 turbo from an Sti along with pink injectors as fitting the up and downpipes you may as well change the turbo to reduce the labour charges. So live with what you've got for a bit and change the lot in one go to save on doubling up labour charges (you could skip the injectors for a bit and just do the turbo but then you'd need a further remap).
