Default Hello

Hello,

Well today was the day, Crowman kindly took me to see a Classic V-Limited Scoob and it just had to come back with me.
It is very standard and needs a few little touches but drove all the way back with a big grin on my face.

Would like to say a big thank you to Crowman for his help in finding the Scoob and making sure that it was a good buy.

Expensive Jap alloys on that, just a shame they would now be considered by most as a bit small/dated.

The Alloys are indeed expensive jap ones, but god they are horrible.

The car itself is the most standard and un touched scoob i have ever seen.
Its genuine 33,000 miles, still in kmh, still with limiter.
Only been in country 8 months.Had cam belt, tensioners, idlers, all fluids, gearbox, diff etc.
It has all the genuine badges showing its limited run number.
Has world rally embosed seats, same as mine actually.
It actually has the complete standard exhaust system, cant remember last time i heard a scoob so quiet.

Doubt there is another in the country so genuine.

I am sure Iain wont mind me saying, Brought it for £3k what a bargain.

Oh yeah, i drove it on test drive, forgot just how poo the standard brakes are.
4 pots needed mate

Watch this space as Iain already has plans for it.

Defineltly have plans to personalise the Scoob and am really looking forward to doing what i have planned.
I wanted a Scoob many years ago, just got side tracked but now I am so pleased that I have managed to find 1 and in the condition that it is.
I love cars that can make you grin when driving them and this surely did that.

Nice motor mate and welcome, we picked up my car with 47000miles on the clock, and in mint condition, if you think it puts a smile on your face now. wait till you start doing basic mods and watch that grin turn into a massive smile, and the brakes................you have got to upgrade very soon before big mods, as we found out the hard way , now we have 4 pots on front and 2 pots on rear, it stops on a penny

Enjoy from Baz and Shaz

Hello Cath and thank you.

I am looking forward to changing a few little bit on it, making it look nice and of course driving in it.
