Default My new pride type-r

Well after doing the bottom end on my last type-r and spending way to much money to on the engine for 400bhp i decided to move it on and buy a standard one which i can enjoy as it is.

Just doing small cosmetic bits and a stage 1 remap with boost controller

Then enjoy

First purshed

Fresh import first owner over here any way



new wheels with fresh paint

painted the brakes


cleaned the arches got to love a fresh import no rust, camewith ohlins adjustable dasmpers on the car nice touch


fitted some mud flaps and new system


and here it is to date






ill post more pics as it moves on

Nice.
Love the clean look and lack of underseal/body protection on the imports...shame it won't be like that by Easter.

Lol i no my last one was imported from new and had plenty of rust under neath it , im gonna have the inside of the arches painted so i can keep em clean to try and prolong the rust attack

I have access to ramps so ill protect the under side of the car and get it up once a month and scrub it/clean it

Brennt from smd tells me alot about your car sounds nice

No its not me mate my exhaust is a quiet one and the car is not a daily driver weekend pleasure only ,

I did see the thread in was it you

I have seen another in 2 polegate one was a version 5 though

Seems to be pleanty of scooby activity in polegate

Well manged to do a few more bits to the car since last pics

V7 STI Bottom end with 11mm oil pump, rcm baffle plate, cosworth head gaskets,



Refreshed the heads


Mapped at rcm by duncan racedyanmix made 328bhp but intake temps to high so pulled back to 316bhp fmic next then i reckon


New rcm fule pump



Manged to make a strat on doing the arches this weekend
next to refresh the dampers
before

shes a stunner mate a real gem of a classic!! all she needs is some new discs to tidy up?

Lol yes mate when i see him he always says should of left his alone and they are his old wheels is well i just had em repainted
