Default WRX STi

Subaru are to end sales of the WRX STI in the UK,due mainly to falling sales. Looks like any future models will still be available in Europe.

Mainly due to emissions regulations as I'd heard it.

Either way, it's a shame, but the writing has been on the wall for a while.

Most of the extras on the special UK models come as standard on European models.

Just a lot more exciting stuff on the market ATM that's makes the wrx/sti seem dated ,
I watched a YouTube video recently and saw how a fwd turbo production car walk all over a sti, and the RS just threw it out of scene.
I can't comment on how the new stuff drives but for Subaru to compete it needs to be re vamped, il be honest tho if we got similar option to have more of a jdm car then it would be different story,
for instants uk hatch vs jdm hatch

Looks like Subaru are now making serious money, almost completely from the USA market. This was explained to me by the president of Subaru France, who happened to be carrying out his annual visit when I picked up my new STi When I complained about the 5 month wait he said all production went to America and France could only get cars by placing a confirmed order. As Europe and USA are left hand drive Don't see a lot of hope for the UK getting future models.
