Default Jerky Scooby

Have a problem,or should i say did have,i took Lee to the hospital today, and my car was a little low on go-go Juice,so filled the ole girl up,and was driving at normal running tempreture when she gave a small jerk, then was fine for about 3 miles when it did it again, only this time, when i put my foot on the throttle it acted as if i was out of petrol, then it cut out..
i then waited a couple of minutes, started the scoob up again, and it was fine in every way, drove around 30 miles and all is fine again..
Any idea what might have caused this

Thanks in advance Trace x

Would of thought no fuel in the pipes, perhaps a small amount of air or crap has been dragged up?
