if you've currently got a standard exhaust, the NurSpec is a big jump in noise - its almost at the other end of the scale. all depends on what you want and how you use the car (if you do lot of motorway driving a nurspec will annoy you after a while!)
plenty of other options about too |

I've gotta say I've done 40,000 miles on one silencer with my noise and it does my friggen head in
Only kidding. Age has nothing to do with it mate. Once a petrol head always one. I've had top fuel motors ringing in my ears for the last 34 years and they still sound awesome, as do many other engines. |

Lot's of choices out there - My personal favourite was when I had a Decat centre and the TSL Group N backbox - it was louder than my Miltek system and there was something about the tone/note that I loved.
I think Scott (Silversurfer) has the Grp N on his. We've got the Scoobysport Racebox on the back of the sport and I know it's not got the scooby burble due to the headers but again it has that lovely deep tone to it. I think all the scoobyworld exhausts have video/sound clips on their website so could be a place to start. Otherwise have a search on Youtube to find clips of different exhausts. Also have a think about future plans for the car - is it worth just going for a full system from the outset to save you binning a cat back system when you decide to go further with the car? Personally I'd go straight for a full system from the Downpipe back or try and get hold of a second hand Prodrive downpipe with cat and then get a decat centre and matching back box. Do you have grand plans for the car in which case think about full de-cat and a 3' system?

Don't think I could ever get bored/annoyed with the sound of a scoob . I've tried you tube but you just don't get the right feel for it. So I'll probably wait until the august meet and have a perv on people's exhausts in person to give me a better idea. The main thing I'm after is when your sat at a set of lights and you get that nice deep throaty sound ( to me thats just car porn haha) but from what I've gatherd I'll go straight for the full system

make sure it's still got unequal headers fitted, if it's relatively standard it should have, unequal headers give it the burble

I have had a prodrive back box, then Group N TSL, and now afterburner. All quite different in sound. The TSL gave a deeper rumble, the afterburner kind of thumps at low revs and screams at the top end.
One thing is though, if its just noise you are after, with a bugeye, even just changing the back box alone will make a massive difference so worth just trying that first before getting into decats/remaps etc....

I had the Afterburner Vortex on mine, I loved it, even when on the motorway.

Vortex afterburner gets my vote,
But you wont be able to do any track days (without a bung) because of the noise levels most tracks enforce.

Depends on the track/time of day but expect from 96 to 105 at 3/4 throttle

You heard mine tonight it's a ninja II cat back I think though after my mate looked under both our cars it looks like I may be missing a cat (questions re that in another post)
Mine could do with being a little louder but as it is it isn't horrible on it the motorway.
