Default Springs/shocks - Bugeyes????

Having realised I can see alot of daylight under my wagon, I have started trawling through some teccy threads and am led to beleive that the springs from a saloon, will in fact fit onto a wagon. However, this is mainly from manufacturers sites when it comes to uprating. My question is, will the shocks from say, a bugeye STI fit onto a wagon, and do they run the same top mount? As I may have spotted some shocks for sale, but with the inherent 'knock' I was unsure if my standard top mounts could bolt straight on?

Any help on this subject would be much appreciated... (I have also posted a 'wanted' item now too )

Thanks again...

Rich
