Blobeye wrx front brakes - upgrade
Picked up my blobeye wrx a few weeks back and one thing I've defo come to realise is how woeful the brakes are especially compared to my previous dc2. Now the car had brand new oem discs and pads all round 5/6months ago fitted by previous owner, so I'm wondering the best route to upgrade them but it seems a waste to replace them all again.
Will a set of Kevlar pads suffice or should I go for new discs and pads up front?? Cheers Leeroy |

Did they change the fluid too? Some people don't realise the 4 pots are actually a very good system. Good enough to be on 22B, JDM Spec C etc etc
As you say, could just disc/pad combination. Look in the traders section, drop them a PM for some advise. Or...Jonnyricer has some beasts for sale.

Discs and pads can make a difference on standard four pots, fluid will improve it too as morster says. But after going to something bigger it is really just way better. You could go for brembos, k sports, or plenty other options, even a godspeed conversion. See what you can get- ive been happy with my alcons. If your buying second hand look around- if buying new k sports seem to be a pretty good deal.
