No choice but to buy when you work from a van mate, no fuel equals no work

Filled up the Pug 406 at the weekend before i'd even heard of the strikes, over £90 to fill but it'll last me about 750 miles

Should keep me in my daily commute for about a month!

Why are people like fooking sheep?

On the radio earlier a reporter asked a person in a queue,

"why are you queuing"

they replied because everyone else is WTF??

mind you it doesn't help with all the hype from the government.

All of this is just going to push the price up even more and make the government more fooking money off the back of the motorist.

I was panic buying yesterday, not because of the strike but because my fuel light was on. Went to Shell in T Wells and pulled straight up to the pump no issues at all. They had a delivery yesterday morning as well but with all the hysteria it may well be gone now.
I don't get it though, nothing has actually happened yet so why the madness. Strike action has been agreed but I beleive there would be a weeks notice befre the strike starts anyway.

Cars full of Diesel but I need to mow the lawn tomorow and I only have 5 litres of 2 stroke for the strimmer, think the mower will smoke a bit on that.

Spoke to shell at Fontwell today on the phone (sod driving down there), the lady there informed me that they will not be getting any v-power in until all filling stations are FULL of regular unleaded (all the trucks are in use with this)....
Forced to use my car boot supply of octane additive at the weekend perhaps !!

Went up to Sainsbury’s Chichester at lunch time, people are queuing round 2x roundabouts for fuel :\ even now? why!!! :S

Yep, everyone will have panic bought all the fuel, then the petrol stations will be restocked next week and nobody will need it. Should be easy to fill up then i reckon

even better, the people that were pulling in to the petrol station were seeing that all they had available was v-power, and then leaving without filling up !
I got 38 ltrs which should last me till thursday at least

Can't be arsed to read all the thread so might be said already but the shell in tunbridge wells is out of all fuels and so is the one in Tonbridge and the one on the shipbourne road outside Tonbridge , so I guess I will be using the BMW tonight .
Fookin twats panic buying.

I have just tried to book flight from London to Liverpool for week after next , normally no problem, now only flights are stop offs in isle of man both ways, journey time 7.5 hours each way and at a cost of £389 , guess everyone's flying as no fookin fuel
