Default Piston Heads Sunday Service - Brands Hatch, 20th September

Might make a change from the usual November Sunday Service at Goodwood, the Cycling event taking place isn't my thing but it's something to do on a Sunday morning.

Still space on the PH list for this one, the breakfast at Hailwoods isn't bad and it's a lot cheaper than a bacon roll at Goodwood.

Never actually been to one of Pistonhead's Sunday Service's... Is it just a meet up? Or does anything else go down as well?

Just had a look on the event thread on PH and apparently an email was sent out yesterday, but as usual hardly anyone got it

Anyway, the contents of the email are below. Please print out the PH logo as you'll need it to be let in.

Quote:
Brands Hatch Sunday Service Information

Thanks for signing up to our Revolve24 Sunday Service at Brands Hatch on September 20th. The race is running all weekend at Brands Hatch with the Service starting at a slightly later time than usual of 09:30 to allow those entering the six-hour race to arrive and register. Please don't arrive before then as you will not be let into the circuit! As always we please ask that you arrive and depart in a sensible manner.

Once inside you will have the opportunity to purchase that all-important bacon butty from the Hailwood Cafe before exploring the circuit and watching the race at your leisure. There might even be a few cars to look at too.

PistonHeads Merchandise: For the first time ever, we’ll be selling t-shirts, mugs and stickers at a Sunday Service. It’s cash only, so come prepared with some extra cash to grab yourself some merch! As the event is raising money for Breast Cancer Care, any small donations you can provide during the day would be greatly appreciated too.

The address is:

Brands Hatch,
Fawkham,
Longfield,
DA3 8NG

Please click here to download your Smiley to put in your windscreen to enable your entry on the day.

http://links.services.haymarket.com/...IzS0&mt=1&rt=0

If you are no longer able to attend, please remove your name from the list to enable another PHer to use the place.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

The PH Team

Not sure myself as there is a Peter Saywell day next weekend @ Goodwood and push bikes on the Brands Hatch GP circuit this Sunday don't excite me too much.
If it were a track day a.k.a Pistonheads @ Silverstone I may of been more inclined to go.

I'm out as well now. The thing now runs but the fuel pump relay is a bit hit and miss, will fit a new one this week and maybe do Goodwood next week rather than risk the thing dying on me again somewhere on the A21/M25.

Right, now it's the Civics turn, chasing an intermittent ABS fault on that one. How I love cars.
