Default Trackday driving photos North Weald

Just a few to keep you all happy...untouched by photoshop yet so these will be up tomorrow.
At least one of each car on the second handling circuit and a couple of the nice planes that kept us entertained with their low landings!

Braking hard Ian????

For those wondering why I am braking so hard.

The exercise was to go as fast as we liked into a 90 deg. left hand bend (80 mph in my case) and stand on the brakes mid corner and control the car.

Which I managed to do.

I must say the PF brakes certainly make a big difference.

I think thats when this photo was taken?

80mph & turning left! Your wheels are pointing straight ahead? I think this has been super imposed from you trying to get a parking spot in France. However it really shows how good the PF's are mate

Thats odd Mike
Now what ever could have worn your tyres out

I honestly think if we do another one of these, i would raise my ride height and go with some 3/4 worn crappy tyres, would be far more fun.
You actually are better off with poor grip,if its fun you want.

Oh and of course it helps if you have 500 odd BHP,as Mike showed so well

I agree The pirellis on my old wheels were about 4 years old and had already done 20000 miles and the Brands track evening - they were almost ready for the bin before i got there.

Less grip means more fun spinning and on the edge - especially when you've only got a weeny 250 horses
