Default Questions for Simon

Trying to work out a plan of attack......

Need to fit the IAT and wideband to the car, these I can get sorted, fitted and wires run to the ECU without any bother ready to hook up and be mapped in, are there any particular things I should do for the wiring, e.g what connector do I need for the ECU input for the wideband, is the wideband something you can supply - if so I'll get from you and fit ready to be connected/mapped when I can get up to SRR. (is the downpipe a suitable spot as I think I have a boss already).

Gearbox.... Once the 6speed JDM box is fitted how drivable will the car be as the in gear boost targets will all be to pot?

Fuel system..... I have new rails and hoses plus adjustable frp to fit, if I fit these and set the fuel pressure to 3.5bar on the pink injectors and drive carefully will this be ok to get me up to SRR? I'll swap to the 650s up there!

Wideband needs to be an ntk sensor and there is a specific plug for the ecu end.
If you dont have a sensor already I will wire one up and test it and then it is a quick fit.

Air temp will wire to maf sensor wiring in engine bay.

Sorry for delay in response I didnt notice this thread until cj mentioned it this morning.

No probs Simon - You got any space on the 31st at SRR? I should have my new box in by then - if you can sort the wideband that would be easier than me having to hunt out the right part and the wiring harness I'll just leave the blanking plug in!

The IAT will be fitted but I'll wire it when I get up to you.

I guess it's keep it under 3K and light throttle on the drive up!

If you want some cash upfront for the wideband PM me and I can transfer it or PayPal it over to you

I'll give you a text or call if I can't make it - depends when the box gets down to Brent. I should be there by 430 ish if that's ok - can't get the day off!
