how to change dash clock face???
my current speedo cluster is a standard JDM and has a "MPH" sticker over what used to read "KPH".
as a result, if/when I go abroad, I dont know what my speed is in KPH and so i have bought an after market white dial kit. any advice on how to get the needles off the clock face without screwing them up? before I got rid of my old WRX, I did pull the speedo needle off and they all seemed ok, just pull off carefully and press back on after but the RPM one worries me. unlike the speedo needle, the RPM one doesnt seem to have any mechanical mechanism behind it to stop the needle going past zero so if i pull the needle off and push it back on after the face is changed, i am likely to be reading the wrong RPM after! anyone know how to get round this problem? got any tips for me before I attempt this ? i'm fine with getting the cluster in/out of the car and opening it up. its just the needle thing that worries me |
